Doing a whole house at once

In houses with a habitable room in the loft, or in flats where the internal doors form part of the escape route, fire doors are a requirement rather than an upgrade. Making good afterwards
New doors in old linings usually means the facings need attention: old hinge positions filled, architrave repaired or replaced, and the whole thing left ready for paint. That making good is part of the job rather than something left for you.
